I have been working in the music industry for over 20 years. My influences are Simon & Garfunkel,

The Shadows, Buddy Holly, Paul McCartney and David Bowie to name a few.

On April the 2nd of 1978 I was born in Plymouth (UK), but I lived a good part of my early childhood in

Hayes, Middlesex.

After moving to the West Country my interest for music began around the age of 13 when the school I

attended started to introduce music classes. Once I had mastered the descant recorder

(much to the delight of my poor teacher’s eardrums) I discovered an old piano in the geography classroom

where I began by myself to figure out basic chords and arpeggio’s by ear. I would spend nearly all of

my lunch breaks and most of my time after school hours alone in the classroom determined to learn.

At this point I still had no idea how important music was going to be for me.

I’m now a self-taught singer and multi-instrumentalist who plays acoustic, electric and bass guitar, piano,

and currently learning to play drums.

My career has taken me all over the world, and I’ve had the pleasure of playing many great venues from

street shows to opening shows for Art Garfunkel on two European tours.

Artie and I became friends in London back in 1997 at one of his concerts at the Palladium in London.

During one of my visits to New York City, we spent a few hours together in Ted Spencer Studios where

we recorded a cover song together. I played acoustic guitar, Artie played percussion and we

both sang ‘Mrs. Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter’ of Herman’s Hermits. The song was never destined

for public release; it was all about two singers having some fun together in the studio.

I lived in Italy for 14 years where I worked as a professional street performer.

For 10 years of that time I did shows almost every night outside of the Uffizi Art Gallery in

Florence for tourists and locals. I sold over 70,000 copies of my albums during that period.

Currently, I perform in the North-East of the UK at a wide range of venues and events,

I teach guitar both in person and on Skype. I also produce music videos and audio recordings for

others at my studio. You can visit my Youtube channel where I have released many guitar tutorials

and performance videos.

One of my biggest passions besides performing is to help aspiring musicians to experience the great

satisfaction of reaching their goals. If you are reading this I would like to be a part of your musical journey.

This is why I decided to teach guitar and create many free lessons on my YouTube channel

Your progress is an inspiration to me so get in touch, say hello, and let me know how you are doing!
